Rounding to the Nearest Ten – Apple Theme
Your 3rd grade and 4th grade learners will enjoy these apple-themed math worksheets as they practice and/or review their skills in rounding to the nearest ten. Worksheets focus on numbers 11-99 and include whole numbers as well as money (dollars).
These 8 rounding worksheets will be a wonderful addition to your fall math curriculum. Designed for learners in grade 3 and grade 4, these worksheets provide a variety of skill levels for most learners. Use them for whole group, small group, or independent skill building. They also make a great homework activity to reinforce skills taught in your educational environment. As your learners work through these concepts they will practice skills in rounding numbers to the nearest ten. WORKSHEET 6: using a two-digit dollar amount as reference, learners will identify and write which two 10’s the dollar amount falls between on a number line.
WORKSHEET 7: learners will round two-digit dollar amounts to the nearest ten and color the apple that contains the correct answer.
WORKSHEET 8: learners will count a set of dollar bills and round the amount to the nearest ten. Then they will write the answer on an apple bag that a character is holding.
