Your 3rd and 4th grade learners will practice their place value skills as they round numbers and dollar amounts to the nearest hundred. The apple theme makes this a great back to school or Autumn/Fall activity.

The overall concept of rounding whole numbers to the nearest hundred is found in each worksheet. Along with that, learners will have the opportunity to practice identifying and counting money (bills). WORKSHEET 7: learners will round three-digit dollar amounts to the nearest hundred and color the apple that contains the correct answer.
WORKSHEET 8: learners will round three-digit dollar amounts to the nearest hundred. Then they will write the answer on an apple bag that a character is holding.
