This 50 page ready-to-use unit introduces the jobs in literature circles and uses Katie Woo to introduce it to your 1st/2nd graders.
This teaching guide is designed to introduce Literature Circles to 1st and 2nd graders using four Katie Woo books: “Katie Woo Cartwheel Katie,” “Katie’s Spooky Sleepover,” “Katie Woo Daddy Can’t Dance,” and “Katie Woo Has the Flu.” Literature Circles are a collaborative approach to reading where students read and discuss a text in small groups.
