This set of 15 math worksheets will be snow much fun for your grade 2 learners. Designed with a winter theme, each page aligns with state standards and provides your 2nd graders with the opportunity to practice a variety of mathematics skills. Not only that, but the print and go format will help ease your busy schedule. Some concepts presented in the worksheets include addition, subtraction, geometry, time, money, and word problems. Most worksheets are available in a color version, while all worksheets are available in black & white. PLEASE NOTE: color version and b & w versions are IDENTICAL. An answer key is also provided.

WORKSHEET 1: learners will add 1-digit and 2-digit numbers. After solving, learners will color the snow monster who is holding the snowball with the correct answer. (b&w version only)

WORKSHEET 2: learners will subtract 1-digit and 2-digit numbers. After solving, learners will write the answer on the board held by a polar bear. (b&w version only)

WORKSHEET 3: learners will identify 2-digit and 3-digit numbers as odd or even. Then, learners will color the snowflakes based on the color code.

WORKSHEET 4: learners will read clues about place value on a left-hand mitten. Then, learners will color the right-hand mitten that shows the correct 2-digit or 3-digit number.

WORKSHEET 5: learners will compare 2-digit and 3-digit numbers and write the

< or > sign on the snowman’s belly to complete the number sentence.

WORKSHEET 6: learners will skip count with 2’s, 3’s, 5’s, 10’, and 100’s and write the numbers on marshmallows.

WORKSHEET 7: Next to each winter sport athlete, learners will write number form, expanded form, and word form for the given prompt..

WORKSHEET 8: learners will circle the analog clocks showing the time that matches the digital time in the prompts about ice skating.

WORKSHEET 9: learners will read prompts about the amount of money spent on winter activity rentals and color the bills and coins showing the correct amount.

WORKSHEET 10: learners will fill-in boxes on an Arctic animal bar graph based on given data. Then, learners will answer questions about information presented in the graph.

WORKSHEET 11: learners will use mental math to find the sums of 1-digit and 2-digit numbers when added to 10 or 100.

WORKSHEET 12: learners will cut and glue the names of 2-D shapes to the matching snow globe. Learners will also draw the shapes under each snow globe.

WORKSHEET 13: learners will read clues about 2-D shapes underneath each penguin. Then, learners will find and color the shape on the penguin’s belly.

WORKSHEET 14: learners will use the prompts to partition rectangular ice blocks into halves, thirds, and fourths.

WORKSHEET 15: learners will read and solve addition and subtraction word problems with a hibernation theme.
